MEET JILL NAHM,

With 14 years of experience in healthcare, I am dedicated to providing the highest quality care to individuals seeking guidance and advice on their health and wellness. I hold a valid license with the College of Health and Care Professionals of BC and have undergone extensive training in pelvic health, specifically in pregnancy and postpartum assessment and treatment. Throughout my career, I have worked with hundreds of patients during these critical stages of life, combining my clinical experience with the most up-to-date evidence.

In addition to my clinical work, I collaborate with the Shuswap North Okanagan Division of Family Practice to provide prenatal education at the Shuswap Lake Hospital prenatal classes. I am committed to continually pursuing further education in pelvic health, recognizing that women’s healthcare, in particular, is understudied and constantly evolving.

I truly believe that when we know better, we can do better. This belief drives my commitment to ongoing learning, growth, and professional development. My hope is to offer a quiet, safe, and supportive space where individuals can share their stories without judgment. Together, we can determine what is important and explore the best options for moving forward. My clinic is designed to provide you with the comfort and support you need on your journey to better health. I’m looking forward to meeting you!

My Treatment Philosophy and Style:

My approach to physiotherapy is a blend of various treatment techniques designed to provide comprehensive and personalized care. I utilize a combination of manual therapy, which includes joint mobilization and soft tissue therapy, needling, therapeutic movement, and evidence-based education. Each of these elements plays a crucial role in facilitating your healing process and promoting overall wellness.

I believe that your unique experiences and beliefs shape who you are, and they are integral to your treatment journey. I take pride in thinking "outside of the box" to identify innovative solutions and areas where meaningful change can be made. By integrating your personal insights with my expertise, we can collaboratively develop a treatment plan that addresses your specific needs and goals.

Together, we will explore the best strategies to enhance your health and well-being, ensuring that our approach is as unique and dynamic as you are. My goal is to empower you with the knowledge and tools needed to take control of your health and achieve lasting improvements.
